Designed with Mike Johnston — the Meinl signature Groove Bell is a drum set oriented, mountable cowbell that was designed in collaboration with Meinl Cymbals artist and online instructor, Mike Johnston.
Includes two magnetic tuners — for controlled muting, the Groove Bell includes magnetic tuners (1x small, 1x large) that dampen the overall sustain (based on Benny Greb's cymbal tuners).
Standard mount fits most hardware — equipped with a 3/8" eye bolt mount that accepts just about any percussion rod so you can incorporate easily into your percussion or drum setup.
Made for the drum set — Mike wanted a bell that fits with the natural mix of his kit without overpowering or altering his playing — the result is a cowbell that is dialed-in to fit modern day drum set sounds and playing styles.
Vintage steel finish — the hand brushed vintage steel finish gives the bell an old school, worn-in look with a patina, and it bears Mike’s signature on the side.
