This is a special set of Tokkuri (Japanese Sake bottle) of “Janome” (meaning snake’s eyes) deemed one of the outstanding designs in Japan since an ancient time and Ochoko (Japanese Sake cup)..
This was originally designed for tasting of Japanese Sake.You can judge the color of Sake through the white of Ochoko and the refining level of Sake through the navy -blue line of “Janome”..
It is a traditional Mino-Yaki ware (navy-blue / white porcelain made in central Japan)..
