【PACKAGE INCLUDES】4 pcs silica gel desiccant tins, 40 grams each, 160 grams total. The indicating silica gel beads are encased in a durable tin canister and are plastic sealed.
【SAFE SILICA GEL】Our silica gel packets are Cobalt chloride free, non-toxic and odorless.
Safely absorb moisture without any chemical reactions.
Safe to be used around foods and medicines.
【INDICATING DESICCANT】Our desiccant canisters contain orange indicating beads, they will change color to blackish green when they become saturated with moisture.
Under a bright light source, the color of the beads can be easily seen through the indicator window.
【REUSABLE】When the color turns dark green, it’s time to be reactivated or replaced.
Place the silica gel beads in a shallow container and put them in the oven at 250℉ for 2 or 3 hours.
If the color does not completely return to orange, sift the beads a little and heat for another hour.
Do not heat silica gel to more than 356℉ (180° C) because it will lose its ability to absorb moisture, and destroy the indicating chemicals. Beads can be recharged up to 2-3 times while maintaining full absorbency.
