HYBRID INSTRUMENT: The Pyle Mandolin-Banjo combines a banjo body with the neck and tuning of a mandolin. This hybrid instrument was originally invented to recreate rich amplified banjo sounds with those familiar with the mandolin.
23” TOTAL LENGTH: This instrument features 9. 3” fretboard length, 8” diameter Remo M1 banjo head, medium (10mm height) head collar type, 8. 5” drum width, 2. 9” drum height & 23” total length w/ 18 frets. Features a violin-style string tuning (GDAE).
MOVABLE BRIDGE STAND: It features a classic-style traditional-style binding design w/ movable bridge stand. The instrument will share the reminiscence and style of a banjo-shaped mandolin but additional versatility with this stringed instrument.
ADJUSTABLE TRUSS ROD: Equipped w/ a universal adjustable truss rod w/ white jade machine tuner pegs that help you hit the desired note w/4-course 'doubled-string' style - having a total of 8 strings, for wider & distinct range of tonal reproduction.
SAPELE WOOD: Features a rich and polished Sapele wood body, Mahogany headstock and neck, Rosewood fretboard, and polyester film head collar material, it is designed to sound as good as it looks. Includes drum headcollar & truss rod adjustment tools.
